Recall Overview
Maytag Corporation recalled approximately 3,800 Jenn-Air slide-in electric ranges due to a fire hazard. The wiring inside the range could short circuit, which could lead to a fire.
The recalled Jenn-Air electric ranges were sold through appliance dealers and home improvement stores nationwide. Consumers were instructed to unplug the recalled ranges and contact Maytag or Jenn-Air for a free in-home repair.
